PHP5.2.7RC5が来た

アナウンスされました(RC1からのNEWSの差分)。RC5かー。RC4も久しぶりと思ってましたが、5.2.6もRC5まで行ったんでしたっけね。。。失礼しました。その前は5.2.0のRC6でした。


The fifth and I hope the final release candidate of 5.2.7 was just released for testing and can be downloaded here:

The Windows are available as well at the following URL: http://windows.php.net/qa/ . The number of changes since the last RC were fairly minimal and it is my opinion we are ready for the final release come Thursday next week. As usual please test this release and report any bugs that you may find, pending any new critical issues the final will be available shortly.

どうやら、

  • Fixed a crash inside gd with invalid fonts (Fixes CVE-2008-3658). (Pierre)
  • Fixed a possible overflow inside memnstr (Fixes CVE-2008-3659). (Laurent Gaffie)

がRC5を出した理由っぽいですね。
順調なら、来週火木曜日に正式リリースのようです。
